Thank you for using Xiangqi Trainer ("App", "We", "Us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require account registration. We do not collect directly identifiable personal information (such as name, email address, or phone number). Your learning data and preferences (solve progress, play history, bookmarks, language, theme) are primarily stored locally on your device.

However, the App integrates certain third-party services that may automatically collect the following information:

  • Analytics and Usage Data (Firebase Analytics): Your device may share usage-related information (screens viewed, in-app interactions) and general device information (iOS/Android version, screen resolution, language settings, approximate region/country based on IP address).
  • Crash and Performance Data (Firebase Crashlytics): If the App crashes unexpectedly, the system may generate a crash report with technical details at the time of the crash to help us identify and fix bugs.
  • Remote Configuration (Firebase Remote Config): The App may receive non-personal configuration (for example minimum app version or store links) used to operate the App.

2. In-App Purchases

The App offers Pro features through the default purchasing systems of the Apple App Store or Google Play. We only receive a transaction receipt (receipt/token) to unlock Pro content for you. All actual payment information (bank accounts, credit cards, digital wallets) is managed entirely by Apple and Google. We cannot see and do not store any of this information.

3. How We Use Information

Automatically collected information is used for the following core purposes:

  • To understand which features are useful so we can keep improving the App.
  • To fix bugs as quickly as possible if the App freezes or crashes on your device.
  • To operate necessary configuration (for example requiring a minimum app version).

4. Sharing Your Information

We are committed to never selling your information to third parties. Data is only transmitted to and analyzed by the trusted infrastructure partners mentioned above (Google Cloud / Firebase). These partners adhere to strict global security standards.

5. Your Rights and Data Management

  • Learning data & settings: Because your data is primarily stored on your device, you can erase it by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.
  • Analytics: On some devices, you can limit ad/measurement tracking in your operating system’s privacy settings; this may affect Analytics data.
